‘찾아가는 청소년안전센터’ 추진에 9개 기관 뭉쳤다

제주특별자치도청소년활동진흥센터(센터장 강옥련, 이하 센터)가 지난 9일 찾아가는 청소년안전센터 추진을 위해 공동협약을 체결했다.

공동협약기관은 센터를 비롯해 대한적십자사 제주특별자치도지사, 서귀포시청소년성문화센터, 제주특별자치도경찰청사이버범죄수사대, 제주도박문제예방치유센터, 제주중독관리통합지원센터, 제주특별자치도광역정신건강복지센터, 한국교통안전공단 제주지역본부, 한국지능정보사회진흥원 제주스마트쉼센터 등 모두 9개 기관이다.

찾아가는 청소년안전센터는 제주지역 도서·벽지학교, 청소년수련시설 및 단체 등을 대상으로 교통안전, 심폐소생술, 사이버범죄예방, 소화기사용법, 스마트폰 중독예방 등의 청소년활동 안전체험부스를 운영 지원한다.

찾아가는 청소년안전센터는 지난 2020년부터 청소년들의 안전문화 인식을 높이는 활동을 해오고 있다. 2020년 3회 892명, 2021년 5회 295명, 지난해는 9회 539명의 청소년들이 참여했다.

올해는 공동협약 기관과 함께 중학교 1곳, 고등학교 1곳, 청소년수련시설 6곳 등 모두 8곳을 찾아가 청소년 활동안전 체험부스를 운영할 계획이다.

강옥련 센터장은 “4년차를 맞는 ‘찾아가는 청소년안전센터’는 청소년 및 참여기관의 좋은 평가를 얻고 있다. 앞으로도 많은 기관의 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
